This album was inspired by the writings, existence, and heart throbs of Rainer Maria Rilke's book Duino Elegies.

It was recorded between December 2019 and July 2020 at Plantasia in Philadelphia, PA using an electric violin, record player, radio, T-3 modified military chest microphone, guitar, contact mics, and various objects.
